Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support pediatric providers across Tacoma, Federal Way, and Gig Harbor clinics. Responsibilities include obtaining patient medical history, taking vital signs, conducting hearing and vision testing, collecting samples (throat/nasal swabs), performing point-of-care testing (strep, flu, urinalysis), preparing specimens for labs, assisting with procedures (circumcisions, Nexplanon insertions, suture removals, catheterization), administering immunizations and immunotherapy, reviewing immunization checklists, entering results into the EMR, maintaining clean/stocked exam rooms, and coordinating anesthesia/documentation; travel to multiple sites as needed; EPIC or similar EHR proficiency is a plus. Must be a graduate of an accredited MA program with MA-C certification and CPR, with pediatric externship preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program with externship (pediatric setting preferred)
- Washington State Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)
- Current Health Care Provider-level CPR certification
