Certified Medical Assistant- Part Time/Per Diem

Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam. Explain prescribed procedures and treatments, ensure ordered tests are performed accurately, and administer medications according to approved procedures. Draw blood, perform laboratory tests, and maintain equipment while responding to lab messages. Conduct physician referrals, service pre-certifications, and drug screening procedures. Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain complete documentation. This role supports outpatient clinics within American Family Care's network of primary and urgent care centers, which operate seven days a week with onsite lab and x-ray capabilities.
