Job Summary
Set up exam rooms, check in patients, and maintain the continuity of care log for lab tests and referrals. Obtain vital signs, report significant findings to the physician, and perform audiometry and vision testing. Ensure all required vaccinations are current and complete audiometry and vision training or hold the relevant CHDP certificate. Located in Kailua, Adventist Health Castle has been a leading healthcare provider since 1963, recognized with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. This part-time, day shift role requires a Certified Medical Assistant with specific licensure and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT) or Medical Assistant (MA)
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP
- Phlebotomy certificate
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
