Job Summary
Set up exam rooms, check in patients, and maintain a patient recall system including continuity of care logs for lab tests and referrals. Obtain vital signs, report significant findings to the clinic physician, and perform audiometry and vision testing. Complete other job-related duties as assigned. Requires high school education, Medical Assistant certification, and Basic Life Support certification. Located in Los Osos, CA, this full-time day shift position is with Adventist Health Sierra Vista.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP
- Phlebotomy certificate
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
