Certified Medical Assistant - Orthopedics - MUSCP

Provide patient care under the direction of a physician or licensed healthcare provider in orthopedics. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, giving injections and assisting with minor procedures. Maintain exam rooms and equipment, manage patient flow and scheduling, document test results, communicate plan of care, educate patients about treatment and medications, triage phone calls, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Requires completion of an accredited medical assisting program and CMA certification from recognized bodies, along with current BLS certification.
