Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and assist nursing personnel with activities while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations as part of the ASC team. Maintain high-level care standards while supporting patients and families under Registered Nurse supervision. This role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and completion of a 500/720-hour Certified Medical Assistant course. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs and assist with patients up to 300lbs, standing and walking a minimum of 6 hours daily. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of a 500/720-hour Certified Medical Assistant course
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbs
- Standing and walking a minimum of 6 hours out of 8 hours
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the healthcare setting
- Prior customer service experience
- Displays excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to communicate and interact with patients and their families clearly and effectively
