Job Summary
Part-Time Float Medical Assistant in Forest Grove and McMinnville, OR. Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable. Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and equipment; administer injections, change dressings, and wound management per providers’ orders. Collect blood/tissue samples, perform routine in-house lab testing, log results, and perform lab call-backs. Document patient care in electronic medical records; schedule tests and follow-up appointments; instruct patients and families on treatment and medication instructions. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care. Phlebotomy duties and open/close clinic tasks, with duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification is required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA)
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
