Job Summary
Prepare clean, organized exam and treatment rooms, welcome patients, and take medical histories and vital signs. Assist with EKGs, manage patient charts while maintaining confidentiality, and complete additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Perform clinical and administrative duties delegated by the supervising provider consistent with your education, training, and experience. Work as part of a team-based approach to care across clinics in Anchorage, AK, with pay of $23-30 DOE.
Required Qualifications
- graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- current CMA certification
- current CPR certification
- hands-on experience in preparing patients for exams
- experience taking vital signs
- experience assisting with procedures
- experience maintaining accurate medical records
- experience working in a healthcare setting
- strong communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
