Job Summary
Provide clinical support at the Monroe location by taking vital signs, recording EKGs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering injections. Update patient medication lists, authorize prescription refills, and manage EMR tasks including rooming patients and clerical work. Communicate accurately with doctors and patients while prioritizing multi-tasking and time management. Will travel to other locations as needed. This role supports the cancer care team dedicated to transforming treatment for blood disorders and cancer patients.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Willing to travel to other locations as needed
