Job Summary
Lead clinical flow by preparing exam rooms and prioritizing patient transitions to ensure a seamless experience for providers and patients. Capture the patient's story by accurately measuring vital signs and interviewing patients to establish a clear clinical picture before consultations. Master clinical documentation by transcribing diagnoses, orders, and follow-up instructions into the patient record to ensure accuracy throughout the care journey. Optimize the care environment by managing essential supplies and materials to support uninterrupted patient care. This day shift, Monday through Friday role at Seton Williamson Med Plaza I in Round Rock, TX requires BLS certification and a Medical Assistant credential from an accredited organization. Travel to Georgetown and Pflugerville, TX may be required as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Association for Health Professionals obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
- Travel Required: Georgetown and Pflugerville, TX - as needed
