Job Summary
Escort patients to examination rooms, gather medical histories, and document information in electronic charts. Assist physicians with injections, aspirations, cast applications, and other in-office procedures while managing patient charts, diagnostic images, and notes. Record vital signs, assist with wound care, collect samples for testing, and obtain or review lab and imaging results. Maintain exam rooms, oversee biohazard waste disposal, monitor supply inventory, and adhere to OSHA and sterile technique guidelines. Complete patient forms for FMLA, disability, and other medical documentation needs. Work 3 1/2 days per week in Stockbridge/Peachtree City with travel to satellite offices required.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Ability to travel between all our clinic locations
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- 1-2 years in a medical assistant role
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong patient interaction and communication skills
- Ability to assist with a range of clinical procedures
- Ability to move and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

- Experience within an orthopedic or specialty clinic
