Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant in Noble County School Clinic (Full Time, 80 hrs biweekly) providing clinical and clerical support to primary care, surgical, and specialty physician practices. Demonstrates knowledge to safely administer medications in ambulatory care; reconciles medications in the EMR; performs medication order entry and processes prescriptions electronically; documents patient intake, vital signs, allergies, and EHR updates; assists with procedures and patient education; maintains accurate care documentation; handles front office duties including scheduling, payments, and patient registration; and performs real-time scribing of patient histories, exams, procedures, and diagnoses in the medical record. Requires CMA program completion with certification and BLS; HE/clinical proficiency in Microsoft Office and general clerical tasks; adherence to confidentiality and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with an AAMA, RMA, or NHA certification or approved equivalent
- BLS Certification required
