Job Summary
This position is for a Certified Medical Assistant responsible for bringing patients into the exam room, obtaining medical histories, assisting with exams, taking vital signs, performing clerical duties, and educating patients. A high school diploma and relevant certifications are required. The role offers a pay rate of $27.00 per hour with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Candidates should have good communication skills and the ability to maintain HIPAA compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as Medical Assistant
- 1 year of related experience or equivalent education and experience
- CPR and first aid certification required
- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Comfortable with computers and typing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
