Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support physician/APP office teams by performing safe clinical tasks (interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with exams, specimen collection including venipuncture, medication administration per Washington regulations) and clerical duties (sending/receiving medical records, coordinating referrals, preparing forms). Role located in the Rockwood Clinic network; 1.0 FTE, day shift with 3x12s Mon-Wed and 4 hours on Thursday. Emphasis on teamwork, patient flow optimization, accurate documentation, and patient/family instruction within a large outpatient setting in Washington. Required Qualifications
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- BLS certification preferred
