Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant responsibilities include providing care to patients and significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care, and assisting physicians or other providers with clinical procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of clinical experience in a medical office/clinic or hospital setting or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, and current CPR/BLS certification.
