Job Summary
Collect patient vitals, medical histories, and diagnostic test results while assisting physicians, ARNPs, and PAs with examinations and treatments. Enter data into electronic health records, manage referral processes, and operate the patient portal to ensure top-notch patient experience. Perform basic medical procedures under direction and maintain current CPR/BLS certification. Requires 40 WPM typing speed, strong computer skills, and ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds. Full training provided in classroom and hands-on settings.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a Medical Assisting Program
- Completion of Certification or Registration
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
- All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of EMR systems
- Ability to stand

- Ability to climb and balance
- Ability to sit
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to crouch
- Ability to crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
