Job Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with assigned physician(s) to support daily clinic operations and ensure efficient patient flow. Responsibilities include preparing charts, entering orders into the EMR, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, assisting with patient treatments, obtaining specimens, maintaining supplies, educating patients, triaging calls, and managing prescription refills and appointment scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in a clinical environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform clinical functions in a physician’s office
