Certified Medical Assistant (Medical Center)

Certified Medical Assistant position in Urology with emphasis on running the treatment room, executing physician orders, phlebotomy, catheter care, injections, EKGs, and on-site laboratory tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining patient flow, documenting nurse notes and EMR communications, preparing patients for exams, ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and providing patient education. Requires strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Urology-focused training is provided; prior urology experience is preferred. Licensure/certification as CMA (AMAA) is required; high school diploma or GED is required.
