Job Summary
Conduct clinical duties including taking vital signs, performing blood draws, administering injections and vaccines, and assisting with minor procedures under the direction of a licensed Independent Provider. Manage administrative responsibilities such as entering data into electronic health records, scheduling appointments, processing insurance claims, and maintaining accurate patient documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Perform infection control tasks by sterilizing instruments, disinfecting exam rooms, and properly disposing of biohazardous waste. Provide age-appropriate care for patients from newborns to the elderly, including pediatric vaccinations and specimen collection.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program
- One (1+) year of experience in the healthcare field
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Consistently demonstrate professionalism in appearance and behavior
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care with an understanding of age-specific needs and cultural sensitivity

- Flexibility to rotate shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the clinic's needs

- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences)

Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with prior Certified Medical Assistant experience (at least 2+ years)
