Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant provides multi-skilled support in an outpatient setting under a physician, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and entering information into the medical record. Requires basic computer skills and adherence to annual competency requirements; communicates effectively in writing and verbally. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited medical assisting program; licensure/certifications include CMA/CCMA and current BLS. 40-hour work week with duties across clinical tasks in a decentralized patient-centered care model.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification through AMT or AAMA or NAHP or MedCA as CMA/CCMA
- Experience in patient care preferred
Desired Qualifications
