Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) provides direct and indirect patient care under a Provider's direction, assists with patient intake, documentation, vaccine and medication administration, and supports clerical tasks. Responsibilities include entering data and maintaining medical records in EPIC EHR, and serving as a provider’s scribe as needed; assists with appointment scheduling and patient education. Requires an accredited medical assisting program (or equivalent) and active CMA/RMA certification with current or soon-to-be BLS. Day shift, full-time with a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Active CMA/RMA certification from a certifying body recognized by state boards
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of an accredited medical assisting program or approved equivalent pathway (as described in the job posting) Must be complete by no later than 90 days after start date in role
