Job Summary
Prepare examination and treatment rooms by cleaning, stocking supplies, and arranging equipment. Interview patients to determine visit reasons, take vital signs including blood pressure and pulse, perform blood draws and immunizations, and record findings in medical records. Report results to appropriate personnel per WAC standards. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for patients and staff while demonstrating flexibility and courteous service orientation. Support primary care providers and collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals. This role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and offers comprehensive health benefits. Neighborcare Health serves low-income and uninsured families across the Seattle area through nearly 30 clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certification or Medical Assistant - Interim status with the Washington State Department of Health
- Basic Life Saving Certificate (BLS)
