Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant needed in a nonprofit community health setting. Assist providers with exams and procedures, take vital signs, perform routine in-office lab procedures, prepare patients for visits, and maintain HIPAA/compliance. Travel between medical centers as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Strong customer service in high-pressure environments and team-based care. Expressions of care and resources for patients and families with limited options are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Active CMA certification
- HS diploma plus vocational training to acquire CMA certification
- prior CMA experience in primary care or pediatric clinical setting
- bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
- must be available to travel between medical centers as needed
