Job Summary
Perform routine patient check-ins, including work-ups and new patient history administration. Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as directed by physicians, perform phlebotomy for lab work, and complete required forms. Approve prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies, assist in maintaining medical records, and schedule outpatient x-rays, tests, and appointments. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification while adjusting to a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or the equivalent
- Previous M.D. office experience or clinical work
- Maintain current licensure and BLS certification
