Job Summary
Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms. Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts. Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision. Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Requires BLS certification and Medical Assistant specialization within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
Desired Qualifications
- General Understanding of prior authorizations and surgery scheduling
