Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant / CMA needed to support General Surgery and float in a Primary Care Clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting providers, managing patient communications, coordinating referrals, and supporting daily clinic operations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional 10-hour shifts. On-site full-time role with benefits. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification through AAMA, NHA, or NCCT; Basic Life Support (BLS); EMR experience (EPIC a plus); 2+ years outpatient clinic experience preferred; strong interpersonal and confidentiality skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and online software. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification through a nationally recognized accredited program (AAMA, NHA, NCCT) required
- Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) required
- Experience with EMR (EPIC experience is a plus)
- Two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred
- U.S. Citizenship or having proper authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available
