Certified Medical Assistant- Full Time

Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam. Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients, ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner, and administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved procedures. Draw blood and prepare labs for reference lab processing, perform laboratory tests and quality controls, maintain equipment, respond to lab messages, and conduct drug screening procedures. Ensure patient immunizations are documented and administered, conduct physician referrals, and prepare exam rooms by sterilizing instruments and supplies. Maintain complete and accurate documentation while working in an outpatient clinic setting under the direction of a licensed provider.
