Job Summary
Obtain patient vitals and medical history, prepare patients for exams, and administer prescribed medications and treatments. Draw blood, perform laboratory tests and quality controls, and respond to lab messages. Ensure ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner, while documenting immunizations and conducting physician referrals. Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain complete records. Work directly with a franchised business location in an outpatient clinic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- AMT registered
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistants
