Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant providing patient care under supervision, assisting with clinical procedures (vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, urine tests), preparing/cleaning exam rooms, handling patient intake and documentation, and supporting administrative duties (pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, verifying insurance). Requires CMA certification (AAMA) or NCMA, and BCLS; 0–1 year medical-practice experience preferred. Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA required or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification
- BCLS - Basic Life Support certification
- Experience with medical office procedures and patient care techniques
- Knowledge of medical record systems (e.g., EHR) and basic computer applications
