Job Summary
Provide clinical support at the Bridgewater location and float to other sites by taking vital signs, recording EKGs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections. Update medication lists, authorize prescription refills, and manage EMR tasks, rooming, and clerical work as needed. Maintain accuracy in patient care communication while prioritizing multi-tasking in a high-volume environment. Requires Medical Assistant Certification and experience with medical office management systems. This role supports oncologists and infusion specialists in delivering compassionate, whole-person care for cancer and blood disease patients across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Willing to travel to other locations as needed
