Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (Float) performing routine patient check-ins, administering intramuscular and subcutaneous medications, phlebotomy, managing prescriptions with pharmacies, maintaining medical records, scheduling patient appointments and procedures, coordinating outpatient x-rays/tests, and cross-training in FibroScans and scheduling. Travel between Germantown, TN office locations is required; strong organizational skills, energy, and patient-centered care are essential to support gastroenterology services across the One GI network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant required
- Previous experience working in a medical office environment preferred
- BLS certified required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required
- Ability to Float between other office locations - travel is required
