Job Summary
Clinical and administrative support for a Family Medicine clinic. Performs patient intake, screenings, medication administration, and documentation of results; prepares patients and equipment for treatment; conducts tests and tests documentation; maintains OSHA and office compliance; educates patients on tests, medications, and diets; handles inventory and ensures functioning medical equipment; supports staff by assisting patients, visitors, and coworkers; maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information; demonstrates competencies through annual clinical assessments. Requires CMA certification (or equivalent), high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year related experience, BLS/CPR, and strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient advocacy. The role emphasizes hands-on clinical duties, documentation accuracy, and teamwork within a faith-based health system.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required or CMA equivalents (CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA)
- 1+ year of related work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR Certification Required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare field
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, typing) and with patients and staff
