Job Summary
Per diem Certified Medical Assistant needed for the Boston Clinic to cover Friday shifts with potential coverage on other days. Responsibilities include performing EKGs, PFTs, and other medical screenings; drawing blood (phlebotomy experience required); measuring vital signs; recording patient information on charts; preparing treatment rooms; and performing additional duties as assigned. Must have graduated from an accredited allied health school, hold a current CMA license and CPR/BLS certification, and be a member of AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT. Requires two or more years of medical-field experience, strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and working knowledge of MS Office and Web-based applications. GI experience is a plus. The role offers a competitive salary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from accredited allied health school
- Current state CMA license and CPR/BLS certification
- Must be a current member of the AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT
- Two or more years’ experience in the medical field
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Web-based applications
- Phlebotomy experience is a must
- GI experience a plus
