Job Summary
The Clinical Team Lead oversees daily clinical operations in a Sentara Urgent Care setting, collaborates with Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager to enforce efficient operations, manages multiple projects and special assignments, supports leadership, and acts as a subject-matter expert in clinical areas. Requires CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT Basic certification with BLS within 90 days of hire; 2 years patient care, 1 year administrative and 1 year medical office experience. Clinic hours vary; role includes leadership responsibilities and cross-departmental collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or EMT Basic Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 2 years patient care experience
- 1 year administrative experience
- 1 year medical office experience
