Certified Medical Assistant ConvenientCare - Per Diem

Provides direct patient care and clinical support for physicians and other providers in the outpatient setting as a Certified Medical Assistant. Performs rooming duties, vital signs, medication review, and assists during procedures; supports provider with minor surgical procedures and ancillary exams; administers medications per policy; collects specimens and performs phlebotomy; handles clerical duties including scheduling, documentation in the EMR, referrals, and billing inquiries; ensures patient safety and education; may inventory supplies and assist with orientation; travel may be required; requires CMA or RMA certification and licensure per governing bodies; High School Diploma or GED required with specialty training preferred; BLS within 6 months.
