Certified Medical Assistant

Welcome and escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for visits, and accurately obtain vital signs. Perform patient intake to assist providers in directing care, assist with exams and procedures, and direct patients following visits. May perform EKGs, prepare laboratory requests, deliver specimens, retrieve reports, and clean restock exam rooms. Administer vaccines, maintain professional certification, and cross-train for backup patient services and reception duties. Answer patient calls, screen and route outside calls, pre-register appointments, and ensure follow-up bookings. Maintain CPR certification and adhere to all compliance protocols and policies.
