Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant in Wellstar's Float Pool Region 3 (Roswell/Alpharetta/Cherokee Health Park and surrounding areas). Responsibilities span clinical and non-clinical duties: assist physicians during treatments, register patients, perform vitals, prepare exam rooms, operate lab and radiology tasks, process imaging and documentation, support front office operations, and provide patient-centered care across age groups. Demonstrates teamwork, adheres to safety and regulatory standards, participates in education and training, and may precept or support ongoing competency assessments. Requires CMA certification, BLS, and relevant clinical experience with radiology and phlebotomy preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CMA certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a practice setting
- Minimum 1 year experience in the specialty
- Radiology experience preferred or will provide training within first 60 days
