Job Summary
Conduct daily office operations for the physician, managing patient flow and assisting with exams, procedures, and patient education under supervision. Perform triage, monitor and record vitals for all visiting patients, and ensure accurate medical documentation of office visits. Maintain efficient scheduling coordination and handle administrative tasks in the absence of the Office and scheduling coordinator. This role supports the stroke care team in delivering comprehensive patient care and administrative oversight within the physician's office.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Assist physician with the daily operations of the physician's office
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Assist with patient care, i.e. exams, procedures and patient education under the direction and supervision of a physician
- Perform triage
- Monitor and record vitals of all visiting patients
- Ensure medical documentation of office visits
- Assist with Office and scheduling coordinator in their absence (if necessary)
