Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for examinations and procedures, and record vital signs including pulse, blood pressure, and weight. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and administering medications while assisting physicians with patient education. Manage phone nursing duties for triage, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescription calls, plus pull and prepare patient records for physicians. Schedule appointments efficiently and maintain stocked, clean exam rooms and work areas. Adhere to company policies, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines, actively participate in quality improvement activities, and perform all other duties assigned by supervisors or staff.
