Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) - Fam Med Pekin East

Assist providers and clinical staff with obtaining vital signs, reviewing patient histories, and preparing patients for examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures. Perform rooming functions including blood draws, specimen preparation, and administering oral medications or injections as delegated. Manage follow-up appointment tracking for office visits, lab tests, and procedures, while scheduling specialist referrals and completing necessary CPT/ICD-10 coding. Provide patient education, answer clinical questions, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety guidelines.
