Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at MountainView Family Care at Northrise in Las Cruces, NM. Provides patient care under supervision, assists with clinical procedures (taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, splints), prepares and cleans exam rooms, performs patient intake tasks and insurance coordination, maintains organized workflows, and supports administrative duties (pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, verifying insurance eligibility, clinic communications). Maintains clinic supplies, educates patients on medications and health topics, and contributes to efficient clinic operations while upholding policies and delivering excellent patient service.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA required
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
