Job Summary
Assist providers with patient preparation for examinations, minor office procedures, and patient education; perform selected patient and laboratory testing (ECG, PFT, venipuncture/ABI as required by site); provide chaperoning and escorting per policy; support clinical care team and provide clerical backup; role supports patient care during sensitive procedures where patients may request a same-gender staff member; ensures appropriate gender representation among staff to accommodate patient choice.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Active/Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Phlebotomy Certification when required by state
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience
- Willingness to complete CAOCH and Drug Testing Collection Certifications
