Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant needed at Inland Shoulder Clinic (a division of Northwest Specialty Hospital) to room patients, record vital signs, administer injections, perform venipuncture, urinalysis, and EKG testing, set up/clean procedure rooms, and manage biohazard/sharps waste. Must demonstrate aseptic technique, standard precautions, knowledge of EKGs and specimen processing, and basic pharmacology. BLS certification and CMA certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA) required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with active certification from AAMA, NCCT, or NHA
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Strong English communication skills for safe and effective patient care and documentation
