Job Summary
Document symptoms, vital signs, and responses to interventions while reporting progress to providers. Collect assessment data, administer medications and immunizations as directed, and perform simple lab tests. Document care provided, file lab results, and report untoward findings to the Physician. Provide patient education based on learning needs and assist with procedures. Maintain the patient care environment by meeting safety standards, ensuring cleanliness, and managing inventory. Complete charging documentation and manage prescription refills per protocol. Requires current state license, CCMA-NHA certification, CPR certification, and 0-1 year clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school
- Current state license as appropriate
- 0-1 year clinical experience
- MA/CMA/RMA – Certification/registration or successful completion of clinical and/or pharmacology coursework
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA-NHA)
- CPR Certification
