Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for health care providers while obtaining and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications. Draw and collect blood samples for laboratory analysis, administer ordered medications or vaccines via various routes, and perform routine tests such as EKGs. Ensure patients feel at ease by patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. Maintain strict adherence to established standards and procedures for all clinical and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire
- High School GED General Studies, upon hire
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire
- Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire
- Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire
- National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire
- National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire
- Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire
- Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire
- Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
