Job Summary
Measure and record patient vital signs, interview patients, and document medical histories while cataloging needs to the care team. Prepare patients for exams, perform routine screenings, collect lab specimens, and administer medications or change dressings under physician supervision. Maintain supplies, sterilize instruments, and process phone messages to route calls appropriately. Provide health coaching to patients and follow up via weekly calls. This role requires local travel up to 80% of the time and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates must hold a Medical Assistant certification with at least one year of experience and current BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED)
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Program in one of the following: Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician Program, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and/or regionally up to 80% of the time to assist in covering other centers, as needed
- Spoken and written fluency in English

- Experience working with geriatric patients
- EMR system experience
