Job Summary
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant provides direct and/or telephone patient care following established standards; assists physician with clinical procedures; coordinates with care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care; requires ability to perform physical tasks including assisting patients in/out of wheelchairs and lifting up to 100 pounds; home to a vaccination event setting with potential exposure to communicable diseases; duties include using a computer keyboard and maintaining infection control practices; must meet minimum education and experience requirements and maintain CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office / clinic or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Record of prior stable employment and / or favorable references.
