Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support and direct patient care in a medical office setting; assist physicians with procedures, coordinate with care team for seamless delivery, and perform urine collection and drug testing. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of clinical experience (or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program), strong references, and CPR/BLS certification (preferred). Office-based role in Chicago, IL with exposure to autoclave use and routine office duties; duties include patient interaction, charting, and use of medical equipment. Vaccination requirement noted.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office / clinic or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- Record of prior stable employment and / or favorable references
- Strong experience with urine collection and drug testing
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with at least one year of recent experience as a medical assistant (preferred)
- Current certification as a medical assistant (preferred)
- Current CPR / BLS certification (preferred)
