Certified Medical Assistant - Cardiology Clinic

Assist the physician in providing direct patient care and health teaching tailored to age-specific needs. Deliver quality care through excellent customer service within a team-centered approach. Collaborate with providers and nursing staff on patient and family care, manage order entry, and handle clerical support including record keeping, scheduling, and patient demographic verification. Prepare patients for exams, process billing and payments, and maintain office supplies. Verify physician orders and file patient records according to office policy. Observe professional ethics regarding patient confidentiality and enforce safety practices. Participate in performance improvement activities and utilize the nursing process for age-specific care. Prefer phlebotomy and laboratory specimen preparation experience. Requires Medical Office Assistant Certification and one year of experience.
