Certified Medical Assistant Cardiology

Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on charts. Perform select clinical duties such as preparing treatment rooms, transcribing patient orders for laboratory and radiology tests, and documenting encounters with proper diagnoses and follow-up instructions. Handle basic clerical tasks like answering the phone and maintaining records, while managing materials management functions to order and stock supplies. Maintain a clean and orderly environment. Requires BLS certification and Medical Assistant certification within three months of hire. Full-time day shift at Ascension Medical Group in Evansville, Indiana.
